Ingredients
- Curd 500 gms
- Powdered sugar 1 cup
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Chopped pistachio 1/4 cup
- Chopped almonds (soaked & peeled)
- Saffron soaked in half a cup of warm milk.
Directions
Step 1: Take thick 500 gms of curd.
Step 2: Tie curd in a big muslin cloth make a potli hang it or keep on a strainer for minimum 2 hrs.
Step 3: Remove all excess water. In a big bowl take hung curd, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder mix well.
Step 4: In a separate bowl take a big strainer (Channi) strain the mixer properly till there are no lumps.
Step 5: Add chopped Pista, Almonds, and saffron milk mix it well. Keep it in the fridge to chill for 3-4 hrs.
Step 6: Garnish with chopped Pista , almond, and a little Kesar milk on the top.
Step 7: Enjoy homemade traditional sweet this Janmashtami without any guilt.
